This very soft, light and delicate scarf offers a pleasant feeling of suppleness. Thanks to the combined properties of wool and silk, it is ideal for the autumn, winter and spring seasons. This scarf is hand woven in the Punjab region of India, a few kilometres from Amritsar.

Advice on vegetable dyeing: Animal fibres (wool, silk, alpaca) allow you to obtain colours that are generally more vivid than on cellulosic fibres (cotton, linen, hemp, etc.). Wash this scarf in a bath of warm water with a soap like Marseille soap and soda crystals. For the mordanting step, use alum (25%) and cream of tartar (5%) to be dissolved in hot water. Leave to soak overnight. Finally, rinse well and let dry before dyeing.
